Here is a new day! In mediation we learn to use happenings in the present moment as tools to separate us from the thought streams. You may view thoughts like clouds. You see them; acknowledge them, with awareness of your attachment to them. Then they pass till the next comes. Like ripples on a stream. Through practice the thoughts come and go without pulling you in. Then true concise thinking comes forward. You are not the stream of thought. Through mediation you separate from the thought stream, and the conscious being, which you are, comes forward. With practice conscious awareness, presence becomes your state of joy that has been waiting for you. It’s your moment.
